To the OP: where were the (defective) models PRODUCED?
I have a Storm which was assembled in Canada, and apparently the build quality is far better than the Mexican ones.
I just configured two Curve 8900's yesterday, and both were prefect. No screen ripple, no wobbly keyboards.
