Same firmware, same area, No Problems.
Bold now switches to edge as needed.
No call failed or drop calls in 3 days.

So are you running AT&T .167 that came with the unit? or are you running .185 or 190?
I'm starting to have dropped call on .190, when switching from 3G to EDGE.
