I have an unlocked 8300. Assuming that, as the rumor goes, T-Mobile service books will be properly supported on all the OS updates for the 8300 after 9/24, then the 8300 will continue to be a great device on T-Mobile...

Still on the fence about H@H ... and if I don't get that, then WiFi really becomes far less important - especially since we're looking at 3G starting to roll out over the coming year.

GPS is neat - but I can get that with a bluetooth GPS puck on my keychain.

There really may be no reason at all to pay for an 8320 this month after all...?

BTW: re: GPS in the city -- even on foot, there are cool things that you'd be able to do with LBS (location based services) if you have GPS -- e.g., have something like Beyond411 instantly tell you where the nearest Starbucks is - as you're walking down 7th Avenue, or where you can get some Pad Thai or sushi...
