I have two email accouns linked to my Curve 8330 Device. This issue is the same for both, so let me reference only one (MSN Mail) as an example.

When I am in MSN Mail (either via their Web Email interface of via Outlook) and read an email message that has ALREADY had a copy downloaded to my BB device, the message gets marked as READ on my MSN account BUT will never update to show as OPENED on the BB device.

However, if I read the message on my BB device first then the copy on the MSN server DOES get refreshed to show as READ.

Why does it NOT work both ways? How can I insure that when I read email from the actual account the BB device also gets refreshed to show it as OPENED?

REMINDER: As stated in the thread title, my email account linkages are via BIS, not BES.
