And they couldn't trim the OS down for the ol' Pearl, since they wouldn't need a lot of the features that newer BBs have? Just sayin'.
I was just hoping for a good browser update - hopefully with the rumored Flash capability. Because, while Opera Mini isn't bad, I'm not totally thrilled with it not having an actual cursor and having it pause ever-so-slightly at every embedded link while scrolling a page. I tried the beta of the next version, but it's cursor snaps to some kind of grid that will sometimes totally skip around a check box making it impossible to click it, for example - those "remember me" option boxes on a sign-in page, making it worthless. |
We are still probably a year away from Flash. Maybe it will link with a 5.1 or 5.2 or higher. ????
