I am having a similar problem here as well. We had one users that was able to chat away with BBM and as soon as we added her phone to the BES server and she activated all of her BBM contacts stopped sending/receiving the messages.

The same thing happened to my phone as well, except I was able to use BBM even after being on the BES server but they recently stopped working. The strange thing though is that if the users is part of our BES server we can add and chat with them on BBM without issue.
