Sorry for all the pre-purchase threads but just getting ready to pull the trigger on this unit I think. The only non-BB app I would want to install is Google Maps and after searching around, the folks over at Crackberry seem to have pointed out that the only version to install is v.6.8.1 I believe at the newer versions are too bloated for BB10. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this on the Classic or another BB10 product. I guess the next question is, if I deny most of the app permissions, would it still run? The only footnote I have to installing Google Maps on BB10 is that a phone reset needs to be done after the install in order for it to run. Anyway, just curious to see if anyone else here has Google Maps running w/o issues on their BB10 device.
