Neat! A political tricorder!

Surprise, we Canadians also got polarization problems recently too (maybe not as bad....maybe worse....knock on wood....time will tell if our government collapses!) Our polarized parliament just opened their first session recently with some drama in the first days. Essentially, a minority government which historically do not last long in Canada, and four parties are represented with significant number of seats. There is an exact even split 50-50 for Liberal/NDP potential "alliance" versus PC/PQ potential "alliance", with a single independent with the deciding vote. (The closest USA equivalent is an exact 50-50 split in the USA Congress, except there's four parties instead of two.)
