RIM is working on the fix and Verizon will be testing it prior to release. I evaluated the 7130e and experienced numerous DCR's both tethered and mobile where it drops from 1XEV to 1X. I tested the 7250 with v4.0.2 and experienced the same thing. Both fixes are due first week in February. I must say as a tethered device this solution is fantastic. On 1XEV I was hitting download speed up to 800Kbps. This is a great solution for BB/Laptop users. I expect the 7130e to be very popular due to the versatility and form factor.
