Here are my thoughts on this switch. I went from 8320 to Bold and "back" to 8900.
  1. Screen: There is no comparison. The 8900 is superb. Just having that much more screen estate means less scrolling around. And if you read a lot with your BB, this is the one good reason enough to upgrade.
  2. Keyboard: One major reason for me to stick with a BB is their keyboard quality. I've never liked the 8320 keyboard. Too clickety and plasticky. Although it works well, I just didn't like the cheap feel. The 8900 is a major improvement, but still a tad too clicky for my liking. Still too noisy for use in a meeting.
  3. Speed: It was not a major problem in the old Curve, but so much more joyful to use in the new Curve especially if you are browsing media files.

That is my top three reasons.
