Welcome to the forums.

Create a backup of your data.

Once you have the backup, try clearing your contacts database on the device by doing the following:

In DM, go to Backup/Restore, select Advanced, in the device database column, highlight address book and select clear.

That will clear your address book database. Once it shows empty on the device, try to resync with Outlook.

Worst case scenario, if the sync still doesn't work, then do a restore from the backup you just created.
