Actually, what it was was someone who created some POS "hybrid" version for the 9810, that had no installer and required the user to have a specific previous OS installed on the PC, so the COD files would get added to the device. The day I do that to any of my devices will be the day I toss them over a bridge. It's not like there aren't enough issues to deal with on the 99xx's.
