Default Re: To Save Rim, Remove Head From Ass

- Doesn't really apply to a company this deep into an OS shift. Doesn't really apply to you either. 9300 is twice removed (once removed due to a newer device being available and another for it being in the low end of the spec) from the current offerings. Not to diminish the 9300 (My workberry is a 9360), but let's get on an OS 7.x device and we'll discuss.

- Neither will the first device from RIM shipping with BB10. Not really an issue, as it announced by Thor himself, that a keyboard BB10 device was in the works (Early 2013), which is fine if you are rocking an OS 7 device. Everyone does not upgrade as soon as they can. Some are locked into contracts and others wait for the hype to die down.

- Trust me, they do sell their security, and up until recently, that is all they sold. The consumer eventually wanted more. RIM's marketing skills have been lacking. Even the new commercials I am seeing lack a central focus or theme. Maybe that will change when they hire a CMO.

- afaik the first device will have an ffc, but RIM has very little to do with Skype being available. I suspect we'll see a video chat integrated thing with the OS and other users, but with Skype? We'll have to see.
