Two seperate questions here.
The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not transfer photos to the 7100. It can sync PIM data and load programs. It is available from the BlackBerry web site at

The easiest way to transfer photos is to mail them to yourself. Then open and save the attachments.
Be aware that the 7100 has 32MB of memory...
