Default I need help. Blackberry 9000 user

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone... Please help me asap. Really appreciate and feel grateful.
I am using blackberry bold 9000 for almost 2years. I didn't encounter any problem till just recently. My bold tends to turn to be hot, the screen and the battery.
The battery tends to drain extremely fast, was like 20% within an hour.
I've checked in the application switcher, it was just running five default application. And my download applications were just face book, window live, berry buzz and dictionary.. That is all.
I've upgraded my OS 4.6 to OS 5 six months ago. And recently when i encountered this problem, i downgraded it again but nothing was worked. I upgraded it back to OS 5 and nothing helps too.
The Wi-fi and blueetooth were off as well... basically it is a default phone.
Argh!!!!!!!!!
Anyone out there please help me... I appreciate for your time and helps! Thanks a million times =) i love my bold anyway.

Listen, it's the middle of the night in North American where the majority of the members of this site reside, so don't expect a fast answer.

Further, it's rude to bump your post after only 55 minutes, particularly when it is still on the first page.

My answer for you is to get a new device.

Have you had the same battery for almost 2 years? You say:

"The battery tends to drain extremely fast, was like 20% within an hour."

I'd try a new battery tbh

I agree that certainly sounds like a battery issue. I'd recommend that you buy a new battery especially since you already checked the software side of it when you downgraded to test it and then upgraded and found No improvement in battery performance. The best part about batteries is that RIM made it easy for you. To change and replace it yourself. Also if that does'nt work you can still return the battery if you save the receipt. Lastly you could also do the extreme thing buy a new BB. I typically buy a new phone once every 2 to 3 years to stay ahead on the techno front. My brother on the other hand will keep his phone even after that His phone has broken keys a scratched screen that does'nt work anymore dents all over it and he won't upgrade it because the phone part still works as long as he can hear the phone ring and make and receive calls he won't upgrade it. His opinion is that RIM makes a quality product that he'll keep over the hype of a NEW Phone thing. I just live and let live way to go bro.
