whenever I try to sign on to RambleIM or stockview I get an open tunnel error and the occasional firewall problem again... Any help?

What carrier are you on? Chances are you need to change/set your APN settings.

APN: isp.cingular

I had the same problem for T-Mobile.

Set the APN = wap.voicestream.com
username = 10digitnumber
password = your password to log in to my.t-mobile.com

and it worked for me.

Every post I've seen says that the id/pwd fields should be blank for TMo.
That's how I've got it set and it works for me...

I've tried both APN settings for Cingular (with resets each time) and still can't connect using anything but the standard BB browswer... no Opera, bbweather, bbhome, etc...

Any suggestions what to try from here?
