the search tool answers most questions, but is there a chance the answer will be different week after week? Yes....The best capture app or trick, or any kind of app changes almost hourly. I never understood someone taking the time to tell someone on these forums to use the search button. The same time it would take to answer them. This was not for you devnull, thanks for the help. I am on alot of forums, and see it all the time. I know some people are lazy, but is it really worth it to take the time NOT answer the question. Sorry guess im just i a mood.

You would not believe the number of people asking the same questions over and over. I can't answer for anyone else, but I get tired of seeing them. If people would just search, it would dramatically cut down the number of very easy to answer questions.

I wasn't telling you to search. My answer to you was simply the URL to the app CaptureIt. Everything below that is my signature so I dont have to type it all the time.

And actually, some answers don't change that frequently.

I know it was a signature, i was a little annoyed from a gun forum, early in the week. You did help, i downloaded it and it works great and its free. I did not know that! still dont know how you capture the home screen. Not that i would need to do that. But just wondering. Thanks, devnull

After you install, there should be a "capture it" option in the bb menu. Also you should be able to set a side key to "capture it".

Thats the way to capture home screen... I used to have it in a side key, but it is very convenient to just have it on the menu. And assign the left key to keyboard.. or something else...

Anyway I must warn you that Capture It! will not show the keyboard or the play controls on Media screen (Music and Video) so if you capture a song playing, it will only show the album art and the bar on top... not the bar at the bottom with keys....

Wasn't there one that used to do the capture through the cable and you saved the pic straight to your desktop?
