The A key is the lock quick key to lock the phone and I want to change it to someone for Speed Dial but for some reason the bb wont let me..

Does anyone know how to do this?

Yeah.. A and Q can't be change, unfortunately.
Alternatively, if you have quicklaunch, you can then press a convenience key, and then press A if you have that item as "Axxx" something.
