I know this has been posted on here beofre and I searched through previous threads about the email font size on the Tour, but I didnt see any "fixes" for it. I am getting huge font on my incoming emails from a vairety of different users, not just gmail. Did anyone ever figure out a fix aside from choosing "get plain text" on each email? Do i have to just "wait until they send out a new version of the OS"? It is really annonying to get imporatnat emails and have them have about 6 words on the screen. I love my trackball and all, but.........

I am with you ... and as one on my 2nd Tour because of the trackball, this is not the best device to put extra trackball "miles" on scrolling for 5 minutes to read an email

I was figuring we are out of luck until next OS release ... but I find it odd that this has been an issue with other 4.7.x devices w/o a fix??

If you have font size 10 or 11 with HTML turned on you will get the large fonts.

Until an OS patch comes out, select a font size different than above and or turn off HTML email.

Interesting ... absolutely worked for me ... I just sent an font of 8 email to myself and it showed proper size. Unfortunately, the other 399,999 people in IBM mostly use the default font size of 10 What a strange "bug" ... back to waiting for next OS version in hopes for a fix.

This drove me so bananas that I actually turned off HTML support for work email (which is almost always font size 10+). Can't wait to see this get fixed.

I changed my font size to 8 and I will still randomly receive emails that are of larger font...I am trying to look for a pattern in these large font emails, but haven't pinpointed it yet.

how does one "Turn Off HTML" on a 8820 blackberry ?

we get email from Lotus Notes via enterprise email to blackberry and just this past week my plain text somehow changed to HTML for every message. have searched high and low for an option to turn off HTML on the device.

Just switched from a Curve to a Tour today. Wow is the font ever huge in emails. I have the font set at 7 but email font is still huge.
