I used to have a long long list of musical alarm tones in Clock/Options on my Bold 9780. Now I only have a few. Any idea how to restore the full list?

I'm not sure. Possibly the OS, but I'm not sure how to tell. I had to update something to add the App loader, but I don't remember.

That's why. OS 6 has a different set of ringtones.

But is it really meant to have only a handful of musical alarm tones? My old Blackberry had dozens, but now I've only got 5. Is there no way to add them back?

You can get all OS5 ringtones back by going to the following link on your phone: mobile.blackberry.com

Scroll down on the page until you get to the heading "What's New" and click OS5 ringtones for OS6 to download all the previous ringtones.
