Default Quick question... Should I risk bringing my Blackberry into the sauna?

Please Login to Remove!

I heard I should always keep them away from moisture, like in the bathroom when taking a shower etc etc. But would the sauna generate moisture in my blackberry? Worth the risk? It gets really boring in there.

Thanks.

DON'T DO IT. Two things will kill electronics fast - moisture and power. With the phone on, you get both = zapped phone.

And for the record, another name for a sauna is a STEAMBATH...(steam = water vapor).

It's an electric sauna, no steam. But yuh you're right. Won't risk it.

If you think it's boring now, try waiting for a replacement blackberry while your water-damaged one is down for the count.

Good call. Heat is hard on integrated circuits and lithium ion batteries. It probably won't fail right away, but you'd definitely be shortening the life of your phone and maybe harming the storage capacity of the battery.
