Default Low volume of income phone calls

Please Login to Remove!

First of all I have to say that I'm new to Blackberry
I have mine BB Curve 8320 from less than 2 weeks

But I'm having this problem that I can't solve out and I don't know if it's just my phone or no
Whenever somebody is calling me I hardly can hear him... the volume is set to the highest but it would had to be a totally quite place to talk to be able to hear anything
I don't know why but it seems that it's set to low volume even if it's not

Maybe anyone know how to help me?

Is the problem ringer volume or voice volume during calls?

The volume buttons on the side of the unit only work during a phone call, so trying to adjust them while not on a call will have no effect. I suggest calling your voicemail (just to get an active call), then during the call look at the phone and you will see the volume slider in the top right of the screen which you can adjust with the volume buttons on the right side of the unit. When at full volume, it is quite loud so you should be able to hear anybody no problem. If this does not work, it may need a re-boot, in which case just remove the battery for several seconds and replace.

When you said you tried to adjust when someone is calling, you got to do it while you are actually in a phone call. If you have done that then that is as loud as it goes.

The 8300 is not known for a extra loud internal speaker

yeah but when you hardly hear anybody I guess there's something wrong?

It is possible you have a hardware problem. I use two different Curves and neither have "great" ear piece volume. On an occasion I will receive a call that I have a little trouble hearing the caller but most with my volume on full are more than loud enough to hear.

If your is not performing they way you expect, get it back to the store and they will replace it if it is only two weeks old.
