Default Problem in catching the Event

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

In the application developed the dialog which comes after certain condition does not disappears on single click. but after clicking 3-5 times it disappears.
what i am doing is that a separate background thread is running and from the FrontEnd some condition gets set and as a result background running thread executes the method and after successfull completion fires a Event. the front end then catches the event and displays the dialog.
But the problem is that dialog takes more than 3-4 click to disappear.
when i debugged i got to know that event is fired once but is caught many times thats why dialog comes up.

Is any body has idea where i am going wrong.................................

I'm a little bit confused about what you mean by firing an event. Could you provide some sample code to help explain what's going on? Sounds like an issue we could help you fix.
