I'm having a problem with my email coming to my phone marked as read, despite the fact I haven't checked my mail via Entourage or the Web. I talked for a couple of hours with the monkey's over at AT&T & all they did was nearly brick my phone, & of course had no answers. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem since the BIS upgrade to 2.3.

I have an 8800 on AT&T & my primary email is pacbell/yahoo

If you have outlook or outlook express ( or any pop) pop this e-mail from your pc then it is marked as "read" by your service provider (Yahoo, Gmail) when that occurs. Then that e-mail is marked as "read" on the BB. I noticed this also because I do a quick glance at my BB and look for the yellow folder to show me I have "unread" mail. After looking for a while I noticed I had 5 new e-mails- they were just already marked"read.

I believe that is the answer but it is just what I have deducted- not an official answer.

I'm currently wandering so my Entourage/Outlook isn't open, nor am I checking my emails via the web, so I can't blame them for it. This problem only started after they bumped BIS to 2.3, before then everything was fine.
