Hi

How can I add icon to my application ?

Also would it be possible to change the icon at run time ?

Can some one please say how I can import / open the png image to be used as the icon ?

When I tried it using Open File , it was displying it as a Rough file

within the JDE: add the icon to your project, right-click it and check "use as application icon" in its properties.

Thanks a lot for your reply

But whenever I tried addng a png file through the File->Open Menu it was displayed with the ASCII characters in the JDE window

Are there any other options for including an icon ?

Also , once I have added an icon , can I give away my Application just like when it had no icon assoicated with it ?

Will there be the need to include any extra file or resources ?

right-click on the project or a subfolder and select "add file to project". you have to change the type to all as it shows only java files by default
