As far as I know it can't be done unless you wipe and don't use the group function on BBM. I did the same thing when I had my Tour and couldn't get rid of it any other way. It is annoying as hell I know wish it didn't add automatically. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
Wiping and starting over is a pain. There should be a 6.0.2 BBM upgrade to fix this since there are so many people complaining about it. ie Astrasync and Google Calendar Sync users.
Yeah it is a pain for sure, I have never even used my BBM on my Bold (actually deleted it all together), so have not seen the problem. But I feel for you it is annoying.
