Have tried to transfer ringtones from one phone to the 8100 when trying to transfer to the 8100 it comes as filename contains invalid characters. Any help would be appreciated.

Try removing any: :;''/, either that or the names might be too long.

Thanks for the quick response have renamed the file on the originating phone to my.mp3 same error. Then tried to bluetooth a picture get the same error. Get the same error when trying to send files via blue tooth. "Filename contains invalid characters"

Did you download the Mp3's your trying to transfer from a different carrier?

No get the same error when trying to transfer pics from my razor both phones are cingular.
