Hello,

I have the black berry bold 9700, some how the BLUETOOTH doesn't work
i try to go to ' manage connections ' and when i check the bluetooth box it doesn't work, also i can't enter the "bluetooth setup"
how to fix that?

Don't really know. But the first troubleshooting step is almost always a hard reset. With the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds. Then try again after the device boots up.

Did you drop the device prior to noticing the problem? Get it wet or expose it to moisture?

Not sure if this is the same or will help, but after my most recent 5.0 OS upgrade (Tour) I am noticing that my first try to enable BT is not working for an already paired and trusted device.

What has worked consistently is after trying to check the BT box in the Manage Connections box and seeing nothing happen I scroll down and select Bluetooth Options > BB Menu key > Select Enable Bluetooth

Usually that brings up my paired device I use in the car and I motor away. A couple of times I had to give it 30 seconds or so or try it once more and that worked.

I don't know why it changed, but I suspect the OS upgrade.
