i just got the curve, and as of now, no data plan yet. I don't have internet at home, and i am considering getting data plan. can i use that data plan to access internet on my laptop using bluetooth? both devices has bluetooth. what kind of speeds will i experience?

Yes. I recommend using the USB cable, though. It's faster. Bluetooth will work although, it can be a little tricky to setup. However, USB cable works great.
