hi

i hv been trying for a long time now im near to the goal but again faced the following problem.
i have put my applicaation in my localhost server, now i downloaded it from my simulator and installed it, it installs fine but wen i try to run it it gives an "Out of Memory " error. Is this bcoz of the simulator im running in?

When i developed it and run it in the JDE simulator it runs fine. Im som much confused, can anyone give me some help.

This generally happens if you try and run an application built with a jde version greater than the OS version of the simulator / device you are trying to run it on. so if you build it in jde 4.2.1 and then try and run it on say a 7290 with a 4.0 or 4.1 device / simulator, it'll balk and say out of memory

But will this also happen if we run the application in the real 7290 device, while i hv developed my application in JDE 4.2.1?

yes, you'll have to develop a 4.0 build using the RIM JDE 4.0 version. There's (afaik) 5 now
