I'm looking at getting the 8130 Pearl. I currently have a HTC PPC6800. I feel very limited with it right now, no games unless you pay $20 for each one, the screen freezes because its windows mobile 6. I want a phone thats going to do web, email, texting, pictures, and most of all games. Can you tell me what type of games the Pearl has when you go under the help option? I would really like to learn more about the phone before I make a decision to get it.

The BB is not the best as a gaming platform. There are a few and it depends on the model and OS.

I would really like to be able to play games online like on pogo.com which is Java based games. Can I do this? I cant right now with my HTC.

its unlikely you would be able to. the blackberry is very limited in java, and supports no flash at all. there are not many wireless phone devices that are designed for gaming like that. Nokia had made some previously but even their current lineup is geared more towards mobile productivity
