Default Sync'g calendar - alternatives???

Please Login to Remove!

Hope someone can help ...

I have a 8120 and it's set up nicely with my home e:mail addy etc.

It's a personal device with BIS. I am NOT allowed to use the BES at work or intall the desktop software!!!

Is there any way to sync my work calendar from outlook with my BB? Any "smart" work arounds. I've tried auto forwarding mtg requests to my personal e:mail addy but they don't seem to be getting thru. Not sure why. Any ideas?

Is there any way I can export calendar from outlook to excel - perhaps once a week and then e:mail it to myself and import it to my BB?

Or, can I "hijack" Nokia Data suite - which I managed to squeeze onto the work PC before they tightened up the rules and use that to sync my calendar?

I'm not too worried about work e:mails. I don't want them getting hold of me too easily - but the diary woiuld be a great addition!

As an aside, I guess it's easy, but how do you save attachments from e:mails to the Micro SD card???

Many thanks

James

You are sending calendar invites from Outlook and it is not working? If that's the problem, try resending service books.

I have set a rule in my office outlook to auto forward any mtg requests to my personal e:mail address but so far not one has been delivered to the inbox of my BB.

I do not remember what you will see on the blackberry if you do not have the CICAL service books. Maybe nothing. Resend the service books (see blackberryfaq.com) and I bet you will then be good to go.
