Ok so whenever i get a missed call my phone shows i have a miss call plus a text...how do i get that to stop? my pearl is a verizon and i can't find how to turn it off anywhere! someone help please

Phone dialer > Options > Call Logging > Off, will discontinue the message from showing in your Message folder. Otherwise, you can't disable the notice.

ok see my phone told me to do that same thing but when i go to my opions it doesnt have "call logging" in it

go to Call Log and hit the Blackberry Button and a pop up meau will come up go down option and you ll see a list with Call Logging option there

When I first did that (no logging), the missed call icon went berserk. It wouldn't reset. When I started logging again and reset, it was fine. I decided not to challenge that until now...so far, not doing it again, so may have been a coincidence. But those counter reset problems are annoying. I currently have a 1 missed call icon that is permanent. Nothing gets rid of it and it isn't worth doing the OS re-install that seems to be the ultimate fix, till it does it again. I'm mentioning this here for the newbies who may find a surprise with this stuff, and will know they aren't alone.
