Default Backup/Restore TXT and MMS Messages

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know how to backup and restore txt and mms messages on the server?

Huh? txt and mms messages aren't stored on "the server" ... whatever the server is.

Well since this is the "Admin Corner" section of the forum the "server" would be the Blackberry Enterprise Server. I know that txt and mms are not stored on the server, I am wondering if there is a way to back them up to the server and then restore them to a device if necessary.

You can with destop manager and save the image to a server share.

But BES will not be able to use these images.

Perhaps you meant SQL ... considering that is where all the user / application data for BES is kept. I've given up making assumptions.

You can log SMS messages via IT Policy settings, but there is no utility to backup / restore them. Only Desktop Manager can do this.
