Default What's GPS soloution is better for the 8320 with T Mobile

I have used my brothers Magellan GPS receiver for directions and it worked very well. However I understand that If i get a GPS puck I can use Google Maps or Instant Mapper for turn by turn directions with my 8320.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Or should I just buy my own GPS receiver like Garmin or Magellan etc?

I would rather one device, were it me, as I have with my 8310.

The Freedom Mini puck is less than $99 most places...

So what program would you recommend for turn by turn directions?

I use the 8320 with a Freedom puck and it works great. I use Google Maps and TeleNav.

John Clark, I believe i have the same setup as you with OS 4.5, 8320, and TMobile. I'm definitely interested in getting a nav system on this as i will be traveling areas unknown to me come september.

was this hard to set up?

does it provide turn by turn directions?

is there any monthly fee involved?

THANKS!

also, under options it lists GPS but it never acquires a signal, im guessing that there isnt actually a gps chip in the 8320?

Telenav does. Features are going to vary depending on the GPS app you select.
