Found instructions for using a Bold 9000 as a laptop modem (Win2000, XP, Vista) on a Vodafone eForum...
<forum.vodafone.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=7125>
Followed the instructions and laptop shows connection (icon in lower right shows connection at 115.2Kbps), but IE does not open a page.
I tried to ping my home IP address from a dos box and it comes back 100% loss. Therefore I do not think it is this a problem with IE ? (I might switch to opera or chrome soon)
Is it possible that setup is provider specific ? (my provided is T-Mobile)
Other ideas?

Reason: typo
unfortunately no guidance on FAQ for T-Mobile Germany (only TMo US)
I still need a few TMo Germany specific items
1. initialization command (TMo USA is +cgdcont=1,"IP","wap.voicestream.com")
2. username: (blank does not work)
3. pasword: (blank does not work)

i tried the steps on the thread and can use it as gprs.
can anyone tell me how to use "flash" as APN?
