Hi All.
I have an issue that i cant solve.
I am using Domino Server with BES.
We use Directory Assistance over all our Domino Servers, where you can do a lookup on a name across several address books.
Some address books have person documents that have the reader properties set to certain people / groups only that can access the person document for a lookup.
example:
Bill who is in the Singapore OU can lookup Mary Smith's name using Lotus Notes.
John who is in the Europen OU cannot lookup Mary Smith's name using Lotus Notes.
Mary Smith's name is in the Australia OU Address Book has reader properties set on her person document only to allow Local Domain Servers, Administrators and Singapore users to read her Person Document.
Now this is all Great and works fine in Lotus, But if any BlackBerry user does a lookup for Mary Smith, then it works for them regardless of what the reader properties say on the Person Document (Local Domain Servers Has to remain a reader).
Now i presume that the Address lookup that is fired by a blackberry runs on the Server Permissions?
Is this the Case?
Is there a way to restrict certain Blackberry users from doing lookups on names in Address Books that have there readers properties set so they allow only certain people to do a lookup?
