Does anyone know what the default email address is for the BBs on Verizon? I was thinking it was something like

you have to set up your own name. As far as i know their is no default. Once you set it up it will be

Thanks everyone! I was thinking of the vzw.blackberry.net. I used to have an account, just don't know my password, been awhile, will need to contact CR.

An address like this from your carrier and Blackberry is not needed unless you really want one. I created one to a long time ago with my first BB and never used it. I deleted it about two years ago and all is well.

Also keep in mind that this address has NO spam filtering!! This is a warning! I repeat do not use this as your primary email address. I think with the current version of BIS you don't need the xxx.blackberry.net email address. You can simply log on to the BIS site to manage other email accounts such as yahoo, gmail or any other email account.

I pull from my Gmail account, and also my work account. I don't use the vzw email account either.

Gmail works great! Almost instant retrieval!
