looks like i accidentally put my phone into my pocket with an open packet of equal sweetener (yes i am a moron). anyway, i had a hard case on it and upon loking at it it appears as though the equal itself was wedged between the case and the phone itself (down the bottom near the hard keys). and of course those four keys are not nearly as responsive as they used to be (assuming it got under them into the phone itself). this was last night. now this morning the keys appear to be back to normal. so.....any suggestions? attempt to take off the keys (and if so how?). suck it up? try to get a new one? pray for the best?

Don't some folks that overclock computer CPUs immerse them in some form of mineral oil as a coolant because it is non-conductive? If so, could the mineral oil be used to dissolve/rinse the material from the Storm?

Not crazy at all. I've also heard of people who after having dropped a phone or pager into water, turning it off and then immersing it in isopropyl alcohol for a few minutes. The alcohol displaces the water and then evaporates much better than the water.

Seriously, I was waiting for the first "darwin award" post. Dropped it in the toilet, left it on my car roof, spilled equal into the screen, etc. Congratulations on being the first to admit stupidity.
