hello everyone, as you can see im new to the forums so please bare with me. i had my bb curve for a year now and all now it wont charge anymore. i noticed when looking at the usb port there are 5 pins and one of the pin is dislodged in the back. i can see it and it is missing from its original place. any ideas on fixing this problem? thanks

If a pin is missing, I think it is dead. How are you trying to charge it - wall plug, PC via USB?

currently through the wall plug as ive always been using that to charge my phones and my computer doesnt detect the phone anymore through usb port. how about charging just the battery? is there anything that can charge the battery without the usb port? ive seen those blackberry charging pods and was wondering do those work?

Charging pods work. The brass looking metal things on the sides of the battery cover latch are how it charges the battery.
