You need to have an email address set up on your Berry, and make that your MySpace login email. Then, you need to enable e-mail notifications from within MySpace.
Still, MySpace... being MySpace.... half the time e-mail alerts for messages don't come (the MySpace app uses those emails). Friend requests do work though.
When you get a comment, you just receive an email saying you have a comment. The app doesn't use it.
