Default exterior screen problem

Please Login to Remove!

hi, my bb flip exterior screen doesn't turn off when i charge it? is there a way around this? i have tried looking for something in settings/options but haven't found anything. my assumption is that it will burn the image of that stupid clock into the screen. please reply.

I don't think there is much chance of "burn in". Howveer, if you want to not display the clock, go to Options>External Notifications>Automatic backlight and set it to "No".

Yes you can do this:

Under... Clock application click "Options" and change the "When Charging: Enter Bedside Mode/ Display Clock" to simple "When Charging: do nothing" this will simple let you charge the phone without the screen staying on...

Hope this helped... (I recently changed it too)

I don't think the screen is capable of suffering from a "burn-in."
