hello, and good night..

what i need to do is to associate a certain file with a specific activity in my calendar (you have this option in the outlook, where you can attach a file to an activity).

i sent the file to myself, and can't find a way to (1) download it to the mobile, and (2) without downloading it, associating it with a certain activity.

and another question :
why is the emails i send to myself, are not to be found in my inbox? they are only to be found in my gmail, inside downloads, but not in the initial box of emails .

You should be able to hit the menue button and find the option to download file. Now to attach the file to a calender event I have no clue. But if you can't you can just put a reminder to open or send the file at that time.

First off what exactly are you trying to do: attach a file to a calendar event or download a file to your bold. Bold files can only be word, ppt, or excel files. I do not think you can attack a file to a calendar even.t

2: I have the same issue with gmail, emails I send to my self are not retrieved on my inbox. Don't know why.

i have the option to download a file, only with emails i can see in my "downloads" folder, inside the "gmail".

with emails that are sent to my email (and are to be seen in the folder right next to "sms and multimedia", the one that has my emails on it) i don't have this option.
which creates a big problem, cause i can't save my own sent files.

you get my point?

miami29, did you try to fix this via the forum? it's a strange and peculiar problem..

i must be missing something. are you talking about the combined email folder that all your email accounts go to?
if it shows up in the your email@gmail folder then it should show up in the combined email folder.

and you can download any file(size may matter) but that doesnt mean you can view the file. bb only supports certin file types for viewing. but you can use something like file scout and download a zip file and open it and view if it is supported.

Wait how do your emails go in the downloads folder. All emails should go into the combined messages folder and the separate email folders. Also, if each email has an attachment, you should be able to download it. Also, as said above you can only view certain file types. I haven't tried to solve the problem with emails sent to myself because it really hasn't bothered me that much.
