Ok so I tried to send music from my old Sony Ericsson to my BlackBerry. I done the things that was needed (enabled bluetooth, made my device discoverable, linked it up with the other phone and told the BlackBerry to 'receive via bluetooth')

Now whenever I go to send a song (3mb) it says 'transfer failed, file size too big' this seems strange as I only got the phone yesterday and still have over 100mb on the phone memory. Picture files are ok to send via bluetooth so it is working in some aspects just not with music files

Does anybody know where I am going wrong?

You are attempting to send the music file on another mobile phone which has no memory to recieve it ?

I don't really understand this post. Both mobile phones have more than enough memory to receive a 3mb file, however my blackberry has 108mb free and it wont accept music files of that size.

Does anybody know of a limit to file size transfers from another phone to a blackberry?
