Default BB Desktop Manager did not back up photos??? PLEASE HELP

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I am so so annoyed. I simply wanted to upload some photos from by BB to my PC but I had to go through the rigmarole of uploading software etc before I was able to do it. My pictures disappeared from my phone, and when I restored it, the pictures are still not there. Does this mean that Blackberry Desktop Manager did not back up my photos?? If so, that is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. Is there any way I can get them back?

This is very upsetting for me because I have some very special photos on there which I now no longer have.

Please please help.

Thanks,
Claire

You photos SHOULD be on the media card and not the device itself.

When you connect your BB to a PC, does it ask you to enable Mass Storage Mode?
That would allow you to view the media card from your PC.

I don't have a media card unfortunately. I've never got around to buying one.

Getting a media card is the smart thing to do because photos will take up a lot of device memory. If your device memory gets too low, you start losing things. Media cards are pretty inexpensive now.

With a media card, you can easily back up your photos by enabling mass storage media mode when you connect to your computer, then drag and drop or copy/paste them to your computer.
