This really saddens me however I had transitioned to the Droid X prior to this occurrence.

For those of you who BBM with friends in the Middle East I have a powerful solution for you. G-Talk for Blackberry which is available for download on the Blackberry website.

I transitioned to G-Talk and so far it works for me to chat friends in Saudia Arabia, Turkey and Iran. It runs pretty much the same as BBM and has all the same functions.
