Hi,

I've had my Blackberry for some time now - but I've had some problems that I've just dealt with. My work email that I've had for years on my personal domain is 'wired up' to Thunderbird on my computer, my iPod and my Blackberry.
Before I got my BlackBerry, my emails all worked very well - however I'm having a slight problem when I use my BlackBerry and my computer at the same time.
Whenever I receive an email on my PC, my BlackBerry gets two copies of the email. If my email client on my PC is closed, then the BlackBerry only gets one (obviously the desired result). When I use my iPod and PC at the same time however - it all works perfectly fine (as does my iPod and BlackBerry).

I don't know why the PC and BlackBerry are having problems with eachother - but it's extremely annoying having to delete emails twice on my BlackBerry (just to confirm the exact same email comes up only once in my other inboxes).

How can I fix this?

How are you sunc'ing the blackberry with the computer?

I'm not.
All I've done is setup my custom email using the setup function on the BlackBerry.

You have something setup to allow redirection.
Try reading this link and it should help to set the options so you only get one copy on the BB

I definitely do not have any kind of redirection setup.
I've checked my cpanel account for my domain and checked for redirections, of which none would cause this (and if there was one - then my iPod and PC would have the same clone issue).
The settings on my BB seem fine also - it's only setup with this one email and no others, and as far as I can tell there is no redirection going on.

I checkout out a dupe - and they both say "received using " so the duplication must be something on the BBs end (as if it was generally being redirected to the email again, then I'd see clones on both my PC and iPod).

Any ideas?
