No Voice Recognition or Mic

I use google maps a lot and started using the voice search by holding the "call" button and speaking. Yesterday, it told me to restart google maps and try again. Did not work. Started going through the other apps that use voice and they all do not work. There is a diagnotic tool and it said "unable to stream from microphone, restart and try again."
Not sure what has happened. I updated to 7.1.0 several days ago and this started to happen. Not sure if they are related, but do not want to down grade to find out. Anyone else?
