Default How can i 'See' my files and folders on the device outside Link?

Please Login to Remove!

Using Windows, i could see the file folders on my old Blackberry device like another drive on the computer - so i could move music and documents into it without going through the Desktop manager sync process

however with the blackberry classic i don't seem to be able to do the same.

admittedly it's not too difficult to do via Blackberry Link if you search for the help page : (sorry i'm not allowed to post a URL...)

but still i do always prefer the more simple way.

i suspect this is yet another example of technology companies patronising their users and making them work through their management software, rather than simply dragging and dropping stuff via windows, but does anyone have a solution?

thanks!

you need to enable USB mass storage mode to use it like a USB drive after every reboot

Settings, Storage, scroll down to bottom to enable
