Default BIS 2.1 doesn't like large emails

If you get one over 8MB it stops sending emails. Cmon RIM why do such issues exist. Per a new KB article posted.

Sloppy programming? Lack of forsight a-la "nobody will ever need more than 640k"? A subtle attempt to boost the attractiveness of moving to BES?

uHm why anyone would want an 8MB email beats me. Most ISPs stop their clients from sending 5MB emails. ;)

I get emails all the time with 25 - 60 page PDF's attached to them. That is why people would want to be able to receive large emails. Not everyone uses these just for personal use you know.

Same here, many times I got files that are over 10 megs and those are needed to be sent over to a client once I get them from staff and this is not once in a blue moon. I knew there was more reasons not to switch to 2.x and this one is added to the list.
